It seems somehow redundant to describe or review a product which is so prestigious and well beloved. Advanced Night Repair has been a legend of skin care. Once you’ve tried, you can hardly take it off your regime ever again.
The Estee Lauder ANR serum comes in a square plastic bottle with a dropper. Quite a classy style of Estee Lauder. But I was actually expecting a more elegant glass bottle, and I do prefer a pump considering the hygiene issue. So honestly the package of ANR serum is a bit disappointing to me.
The bottom line of a well-accepted and long-time standing product must be safeness. The Estee Lauder ANR serum fits the rule perfectly well. Take a glance at its ingredient list. This serum is dermatologist-tested and ophthalmologist-tested. The base formula consists of water, a type of friendly bacteria (bifida ferment lysate), slip agents, and thickener. You can hardly see an irritating ingredient on it. Also the formula is fragrance-free and non-acnegenic. So this serum barely has any scent.
This serum is supper moisturizing yet not heavy at all. The texture is rather fluid. You only need a tiny amount to cover your whole face and your throat. It absorbs in no time and soothes the restless skin overnight. Hyaluronic Acid locks in moisture, creating the optimal conditions skin needs to maximize its natural repair processes. This is definitely a product you need to use for about a month to notice a visible difference. This serum repairs the skin from past damage and preventing new ones so it will not work over night. After using for about a year your skin will feel brand new. The scent is neutral, soft, almost not existent. The texture is light and easy to blend and doesn’t feel heavy or silliconey. It leaves my skin super soft and refreshed in the morning.
I apply the product accoding to the instructions on the package so far. Use several drops before moisturizer and smooth it in. Ingredient List If I’m to conclude the review of ANR, trusty is the word. The serum won’t cause any skin problems whatsoever. In fact it relives most of my skin problems effectively. My skin would look healthier. I absolutely love this product though I couldn’t quite put my fingers on it. Although a price around $80 for 1.7 fl oz. is not cheap even for a serum, it’s definitely on my repurchasing list.
