Lenovo Yoga Tablet Review

The tablet comes with the right kind of design and specifications. However, you will be left annoyed with the poor performance and sluggish nature in the manner of its working. The battery life is excellent and so is the pricing of the device. When you want to find out more read the review carefully and decide your mind.

Pricing

The price of the device is $299. That is a real bargain for a 10-inch tablet. You are getting yourself a great deal yourself here with this device.

Display

The device comes with 1,280 x 800 resolutions with a density of 188.7 pixels per inch. Those may not be impressive they are good enough for providing clear images. You might however find it little blurry outdoors. If you are an outdoor kind of individual who likes to take images, then you may be left disappointed.

It comes with a 5-megapixel camera on the rear, and a 1.6MP camera at front. Both the cameras provide adequate quality for casual needs. But if you have a particular requirement with photos, this is not the one you’re looking for.

Design

Lenovo Yoga Tablet Review

The best feature about the tablet is the fact that it is well built and designed. Due to that the device weighs 1.33 pounds. This makes it easy to use for several hours. If you are somebody who needs to use a tablet for long periods of time, then you will want to think about using this tablet.

The bottom of the tablet is in a cylindrical shape which makes it easy to grip. With the low weight and easy grip, the device is a delight to use among people of all ages. You will also like the fact that the power button is on the bottom-left side. That makes it easy to find and use. Unlike other models where you find the power button on the sides, which make it difficult to find and use, this tablet has buttons and features that are worth mentioning.

Some of you will find the kickstand mode useful when you want to watch videos or tutorials. This feature cannot be found on many devices. The body is made from aluminum and the chrome-painted design makes it appear polished. Overall the appearance and design is good, but cannot be called excellent. You cannot compare it with the likes of Samsung.

Battery Life

The battery life is what gets the device going. Probably it is the only bright spot in an otherwise ordinary device. You will be clearly surprised at the manner in which the tablet can perform with its 9,000mAh battery. According to the firm, it can last 18 hours of use. With moderate use, the tablet can easily last you more than a day, which is good news for youngsters.

But, the large battery causes a bulge at the back which does not allow it to lie flat. There is a slight angle created. You would find it hard to type. If you want to type, then you need to rotate the device. This could be a disturbance for users who like to type often. If you type often, then you would want to think hard of getting a device that is going to cause you issues when typing.

Review Overall

Recommended
Summary: The Lenovo Yoga will not give you an impeccable experience to be honest, but its study and lightweight design is quite a highlight. That is a good thing and it also provides good functionality for the price. The device comes with excellent battery life that allows you to use it continually.
