Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask Review
The Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask is the No.1 Pick of Origins. It’s so popular that even becomes a symbol of Origins. This mask is designed to hydrate and smooth our skin, and the special thing about it is that you can keep it on your face through the whole night. Before I used it, I already heard so many good comments about it. Some beauty blogger even compare it with the Sisley Express Flower Gel Mask, and said them works equally well, meanwhile the Origins one is so much cheaper. So that review gives me the full reason to try it out.
The mask comes in a lovely green tube which made of soft plastic. I adore the packaging. Tubes are always more handy and hygienic than jars. You don’t have to dip your finger into the product and it’s very easy to squeeze out the proper amount that you need to use.
This mask smells quite fruity. Reminds me of peach every time I applying it. I know that so many people love this smell. But I’m just not so into it. This product claim to be natural, but the smell attend to be very artificial. Same thing happens with their another best seller, the Drink Up 10 Minutes Mask, also has the same peachy smell. Not a fan of the smell, but it doesn’t brother me that much, because the smell doesn’t linger too long after application.
You can tell from the picture that the product looks like a milk white cream and is the consistency of gel. It won’t be absorbed by the skin as quickly as face cream. When you first apply it on, it will be a tab of sticky. But no need to be scared back, because after a little bit of massage, the product will be absorbed well and won’t pollute your pillow at all. In brief, it is actually a mask of intense moisture replacement containing ingredients that can prevent dehydration. It really does its job to hydrating my skin, so a little bit of sticky is no harm.
How to Use
They describe on the official website that you may choose to use it twice a week and massage onto skin before sleeping in a gentle way. Tissue off excess.” So basically you can use it anyway you like, on bare face or on top of all the other skincare products. Normally, I’d like to apply it after my serums, in place of my moisturizer, and let it “sink in” for about 10 minutes before I go to bed. The mask is suppose to help locking all the good stuff of the products I applied before, so that my skin will feel super moist and soft the next morning.
This is also a very great “lazy mask”. When you feel tied or don’t really have the time to apply a regular hydrating mask and waiting 15mins before washing it off, this mask is such a perfect replacement. It won’t waste any of you time and still give you a nice facial during sleep. So I regard it as the must-have mask during this busy time.
